Iravan: God of Trangenders

Iravan was the son of Arjun and Ulupi( wife among 4 wives). Ulupi was the princess of Naga. Iravan took part in Mahabharata war. With winning the war, Pandavas had to devote Bhog to the Maa Kali. No any offsprings and army was ready for it except Iravan. Iravan wanted to sacrifice his life for Pandavas. But Iravan had put some conditions for it before his death. He wanted to get married before his death.

It was impossible to seek a lady for him at that time because no one wanted to be a widow after one day of marriage. God Shri Krishna had thought to fulfill Iravan's desire. Shri Krishna transformed him as a Mohini form ( Beautiful lady) and marriage to Iravan. They got married and spent a time together. On the next day, Iravan commited his life to Maa Kali. Krishna cried for the death of her husband.

After that Iravan was worshipped by transgenders because Krishna became transgender and got married to Iravan. Transgenders assume Iravan as their Husband.
